Hard to Believe...

So, I got laid off; I filed for unemployment and my benefits are denied because my ex-boss says crap about me. F--K ME. I hired a lawyer and I am fighting it. Meanwhile the saga for trailer buying has not been good. I found three awesome deals but on closer inspection, a stolen chop-shop trailer deal is not the way I want to go. Still even with these set backs, I still believe Hallelujah! I am learning everyday and I know I can make this happen. Hard to believe when your money is running out and you're on your knees searching the couches and under car seats for loose change. But, since I am on my knees, I guess it will not hurt to say a few prayers. Yes WE Can! Thanks for your support and please vote on a trailer name! Scroll to bottom of this page!

So, this is the way it goes...

This morning I got an email from the man who has the concession trailer I want to purchase. He asked me if I was really coming to get it and how could he be assured I was actually coming. Urrrrrrr. This after I have called him and said many times in emails, I wanted to come on July 11th to pick it up!!!! I think he was hinting that he wants some kinda deposit or something. Well, I only have pictures to go by, so I am not sending money until I physically see it and decide to buy it. So, this is the way it goes….
Then I was excited and blabbed to everyone about my new adventure (I even started this Blog!!!), now I am flooded with everyone’s thoughts and ideas about what kind of food I should serve, name of the roach coach, and where I should put it. Of course, I asked for all that input, but now my head is spinning. And you know that I love you all and need your support so bring it on! It gives me something to ponder on my morning walk. Speaking of which, I better get going; it’s suppose to be a hot one today.

Here's the thing

I just recently was "Let go" due to sweeping management changes and lo and behold it might just be the best thing that ever happened to me. It was only two weeks ago that I was told by my doctor "Your job is killing you, find another job." Say it with a India accent and you can visualize my doctors serious brown eyes. At first I was a bit shocked I was let go, yet at the same time kinda expecting it.
What am I going to do?
First I decided that I needed to exercise, so I started walking 3 miles a day. I found a wonderful walking route. I leave my apartment, walk down the hill to some hidden stairs in the bushes, cut through a residential area, then cross over I5 by bridge and down another pathway to the greenbelt walkway along Willamette river. Today I saw a beaver , blue heron and two squirrels.
Thinking, thinking.......How can I work and be free? and still eat and sleep with a roof over my head. I have very little money, but maybe I could find a concession food trailer and build my own little food empire. I started cruising Craigslist and FOUND IT. a junky cheap food trailer. 8x10 trailer on wheels that I am go to transform into a great dining experience.
So this is what this blog is about MY DIARY ON CREATING A FOOD STAND. and boy do I need help.
